What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and mentorship I received from Randall Allen through Million Women Mentors. His support was instrumental in helping me regain confidence and reenter the workforce after taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom. My academic foundation, including an AA in Accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Business, and an undergraduate certificate in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix, has also equipped me with the skills to thrive and make an impact in my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the accounting profession to pursue this field with confidence, recognizing the vital role financial expertise plays in business. I encourage aspiring female accountants to understand that their insights can significantly influence decision-making at the executive level and help shape the strategic direction of organizations.
