What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to consistency, relationship-building, and a willingness to do the long work. I have learned that sustainable growth rarely comes from shortcuts. It comes from showing up, listening well, following through, and earning trust over time. Being open to learning, adapting across cultures and environments, and staying grounded in my values has shaped both my career and the way I lead.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was to build relationships before you need them and to protect your reputation at all costs. Skills can be learned, titles will change, but trust compounds over time. That advice has shaped how I show up, how I lead, and how I make decisions, especially in moments where taking the long view mattered more than quick wins.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Focus on building substance before seeking visibility. Learn how businesses actually work, develop strong communication skills, and take the time to build relationships rooted in trust. Do not rush your growth or compare your timeline to others. Your credibility, reputation, and network will matter far more than any title. Stay curious, stay grounded, and choose environments that allow you to learn, not just perform.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in business development today is the pressure to move fast at the expense of trust and depth. Technology and automation have accelerated outreach, but they have also created noise and fatigue. The opportunity lies in doing the opposite. Leaders who slow down, listen well, and focus on relationships over transactions will stand out. Those who can blend human connection with thoughtful use of technology will build the most sustainable growth.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, trust, and consistency are the values that guide both my work and my personal life. I believe in doing what I say I will do, honoring commitments, and showing up with honesty, even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient. Trust, once earned, is something I protect carefully.
I also value relationships and service. I am naturally driven to help, to connect people and ideas, and to create environments where others feel seen, respected, and supported. Having lived and worked across different cultures, I value humility, empathy, and openness, and I am mindful of how actions and words land beyond intention.
Above all, I value alignment. When values, actions, and purpose are in sync, both growth and fulfillment become sustainable, not forced.
