Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my mother. Her guidance, values, and work ethic have shaped who I am today and continue to inspire me to pursue excellence in all that I do.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was, “It’s just green beans; no one is going to die.” This taught me to keep perspective, stay calm under pressure, and not let small setbacks derail my focus or confidence. It reminds me to approach challenges with composure and prioritize what truly matters.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering any industry that the smartest person in the room is often the one who asks the most questions. Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and actively seeking understanding will set you apart, help you grow, and build confidence in your expertise.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is overcoming stereotypes. These preconceptions can limit opportunities and influence how talent is perceived. At the same time, addressing these biases presents a significant opportunity to create more inclusive, equitable workplaces where diverse perspectives are recognized and valued.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, kindness, and sportsmanship, paired with a fearless authenticity. I strive to act with integrity, treat others with respect, and bring my genuine self to every situation, even when it means taking bold or unconventional approaches.
