Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to three core principles: the courage to be visible, trusting the instinct and creative voice within, and leading with a community‑first, family‑first mindset. From teaching tens of thousands of dancers to producing hundreds of podcast episodes and building a global visibility movement, I have learned that real success is not measured by individual achievements but by the lives you uplift along the way.

Growing up in a multicultural, first‑generation family and designing a location‑independent life have taught me adaptability, perspective, and the power of listening deeply. I measure success by how well my work honors my values, serves the women I lead, and creates opportunities for growth, partnership, and meaningful impact.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: own your voice, embrace visibility, and lead with heart.

Build your skills, but also build your community: mentorships, partnerships, and networks are essential to growth and opportunity. Trust your instincts, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to take risks. Success isn’t just about what you achieve individually, but from how you enhance the lives of others along the way. Design your career and life intentionally. Create the flexibility, freedom, and spaces that allow your creativity and impact to flourish. Stop the self-doubt—you already know in your heart what you can achieve.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, intentionality, and service to others. No matter where my work takes me, my calendar follows my values, family time and my child’s emotional needs come first, and everything else is built around that. Living a location‑independent life allows me to bring my family with me and create spaces for work, learning, and creativity wherever we are.

In my professional work, I center community, mentorship, and empowering women to be seen, heard, and valued. True success, to me, is creating environments where others can grow, shine, and reach their potential, not just adding to my own list of achievements. By aligning my decisions with these values, I make sure my work honors my family, stays rooted in purpose, and serves the communities of women I am called to lead.
