Alicia Clarke, MBA, is a versatile and accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, project management, client services, and events, now channeling her skills into the field of education. She began her journey as a dancer at the age of three, performing with the Brooklyn Academy of Music and pursuing a dream of professional dance, which instilled discipline, creativity, and a strong work ethic that continue to guide her leadership style. Known for leading by example, maintaining an open-door policy, and fostering fairness and respect, Alicia always explains the “why” behind policies and procedures, empowering her teams to thrive. Her leadership and dedication were recognized early in her career when she was named Employee of the Month while working for Regus. Alicia’s academic and professional trajectory is equally impressive. She earned an associate degree in Fashion Design from Wood Tobe Coburn School, a bachelor’s degree in business administration management from Berkeley College New York, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. She is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in early childhood and childhood general education dual certification at Bank Street College of Education. Her career spans roles in high-profile corporate and educational settings, including KPMG US, Goldman Sachs, and Memorial Sloan Kettering, where she managed learning deployment, event logistics, and client-facing operations with meticulous attention to detail. Starting January 26, 2026, she assumes a new role as a Library Technician at Bank Street College of Education, continuing her commitment to education and lifelong learning. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alicia is deeply committed to community service, including initiatives that support feeding the homeless. She is an active member of the New York Road Runners Club and brings the same dedication and passion she cultivated in dance and corporate leadership to all aspects of her life. Alicia’s career reflects a rare combination of creativity, operational expertise, and a heart for service, making her a dynamic leader and role model in both professional and educational communities.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to watch out for burnout by setting boundaries and carving out dedicated time for self-care.

Get a great support team, be confident & respectful. Keep your head up and treat others as you would like to be treated.

The biggest challenge in my field right now is managing the stress and pressures that come with the work.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are honesty, integrity, respect, clear communication, and being authentic. I am also passionate about giving back to my community, reading, dancing, running, outdoor activities and creating lasting memories with family and friends, and I am most proud of being a mother to my 14-year-old daughter.
